CO-CHAIRS
David Holben & Lianne Bernstein

Chef David Holben and his fiancée, Lianne Bernstein, proudly serve as Co-Chairs for the 2026 Dining Out in Dallas, the Texas Neurofibromatosis (NF) Foundation’s largest fundraiser, an event especially close to their hearts.

Chef Holben is the founding chef of Dining Out in Dallas. Having launched the event over thirty years ago, he had a vision to unite the region’s most talented chefs in support of NF. David has had the privilege of organizing the Celebrity Chef Auction Dinners alongside five of his fellow chefs, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit families affected by neurofibromatosis and to advance research towards a cure.

For David, this mission is deeply personal. He was diagnosed with a variant of NF1 at the age of 15, and his youngest son, Noah, now 25, was diagnosed with the same variant at age 13. Noah has been part of the Dining Out in Dallas tradition since he was 10 years old, reflecting the spirit of family and hope that defines this extraordinary event.

Lianne is a proud parent and grandmother to newborn twins. She has been involved in various charitable fundraising, and now has a new lifelong passion, raising funds and awareness for the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation.

Together, David and Lianne continue to give their time, energy, and passion to this cause, inspiring others through their leadership, compassion, and commitment. Their shared love of life and dedication to NF represents the very best of what Dining Out in Dallas stands for – community, generosity, and the belief that together, we can make a difference.
